DCH has been built to reflect how businesses can own multiple buildings across multiple locations. As such, each building in DCH is linked to a Site, and each Site is linked to an Organisation. Just as a Site can contain multiple buildings, an organisation can contain multiple Sites.
š”Tip: Icons can help you distinguish between Sites and Buildings on the platform. Sites have a location pin icon beside the site name, and buildings have a building icon beside the Building name.
You can find a list of the Sites and Buildings you have access to via:
The DCH Homepage, or
Select āSites and Buildingsā on the navigation bar to navigate to the Sites and Buildings page
You can find a list of Sites under each Organisation on the homepage. These are indicated by the location pin icon.
To access the details of the Site, Select the name of the Site
The number of Buildings linked to a site is shown in parentheses after each Site name
To view the Buildings in each Site, expand the arrow to the left of the Site
To view the details of a Building, select the building name
You can also use the filtering tool at the top to search for a particular Site or Organisation. Simply type in part of the site or building name you are interested in.
You can navigate to your sites using the map on the āSite and Buildingsā page.
All sites and buildings you have access to are also listed on the right, under āManage Sites and Buildingsā.

In DCH, a building can be linked to one or more data sources. If the data source has been made available via the model point interface, then the building will have at least one Point ID. The Point ID is associated with the relevant building component (equipment, zone, room, floor and wing).
