Create a Site

Learn to create a new Site object or modify an existing Site object

In Data Clearing House, a Site represents a collection of buildings. A site may have its own semantic model linked to building models inside its scope. As a Buildings Administrator you can login to DCH to add a new Site. You'll find options to add details for the address and land parcel.

Create a new Site

✏️ Note: You need to have been granted permission to create a new site. If you are unable to create a new site, contact your account's owner and request for the appropriate access.

We've developed a wizard model builder to guide you through this process smoothly.

1. Select 'Add New Site' from the Quick Menu on the DCH homepage

2. Select your Organisation ID from the dropdown menu

3. Add your Site ID

4. You can provide a label and description for your site

5. You can add address details and land parcel details for your site

6. Select 'Submit' to create your new site

💡 Tip: You can also add a new site by selecting ‘Create Site Wizard’ on the ‘Sites and Buildings’ page. All descriptions of the site except the Organisation ID and Site ID can be updated in the future.
