Does the DCH portal support Single-Sign-On (SSO)?
Single Sign-On is not supported; it is on our roadmap.
What data/information is being collected or stored, where will it be stored and how will it be protected?
DCH allows participating organisations to continuously upload, store, analyse and/or share time-series data generated by building management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS) and internet-of-things (IoT) devices.
DCH adds value to your data by also storing semantic metadata about how your buildings and sites work.
All DCH data is stored and protected from unauthorised access by using a provider from the Department of Home Affairs Certified Service Providers List
How is the system access administered?
Role-based access control in DCH is implemented through organisation administrators, not DCH.
Users with administrative permission can manage users, role sets and/or user groups.
Do I need to install equipment to use DCH?
DCH is designed to be hardware-agnostic. Contact us for more details.
Does DCH share my data with anybody?
Your data is stored and shared as per the DCH terms of service.
Does the DCH process or store personally identifiable information (PII) e.g., first and last name, address, date of birth?
DCH currently only requires a user to share their email address. For more information, see our Privacy Collection Notice.
Can I download my data so that I can stop using DCH?
Data owners remain in full control of their data. DCH allows users to move their data away from DCH. DCH has provisions for packaging all the historic information and supports permanent deletion of client information from DCH within a stipulated period.
