DCH has introduced some new classes in the Electrical systems modelling space.
Electrical_Utility_Meter
A meter between the electrical utility's grid and the customer's facility. Imported energy flows from the utility to facility.
Parent Class(es): Electrical_Meter
Electrical_Generation_Meter
An electrical meter that is metering electrical generation (an Inverter).
Parent Class(es): Electrical_Meter
Electrical_Storage_Meter
An electrical meter that is metering electrical storage (a Battery).
Parent Class(es): Electrical_Meter
Site_Electrical_Meter
An electrical meter that is electrically closest to the utility point-of-connection, and which supplies a site and all of its buildings.
Parent Class(es): Electrical_Meter
A device that changes direct current from PV panel(s) into alternating current.
Parent Class(es): Inverter
Battery_Inverter_Charger
A device that charges batteries or converts battery direct current into alternating current.
Parent Class(es): Inverter
Hybrid_Inverter
A combined Solar_Inverter and Battery_Inverter_Charger.
Parent Class(es): Solar_Inverter AND Battery_Inverter_Charger

Back-ported Classes from Brick 1.4
A container designed to hold or store fluids for various applications within a system.
A specialized type of tank intended primarily for the storage of fluids or gases for extended periods.
Water_Storage_Tank
A specialized type of tank intended for the storage of water for extended periods.
Chilled_Water_Storage_Tank
A tank specifically designed to store chilled water in HVAC systems.
Hot_Water_Storage_Tank
A tank designed to store hot water in an HVAC system.
Rain_Water_Storage_Tank
A tank engineered to capture and store rainwater, usually for non-potable uses.
Thermal_Expansion_Tank
A tank designed to accommodate the expansion and contraction of a fluid, typically water, in a closed heating or cooling system.
Chilled_Water_Thermal_Expansion_Tank
A thermal expansion tank designed specifically for chilled water systems.
Hot_Water_Thermal_Expansion_Tank
A thermal expansion tank used in hot water heating systems.
Packaged_Heat_Pump
A self-contained unit designed to transfer heat energy to or from a designated space, capable of offering both heating and cooling functions
Packaged_Air_Source_Heat_Pump
A self-contained unit that uses air as a heat source or sink for heating and cooling purposes.
Packaged_Water_Source_Heat_Pump
A self-contained unit that uses water as a heat source or sink for heating and cooling purposes.
Electric_Vehicle_Charging_Hub
A collection of charging stations for charging electric vehicles. A hub may be located in a parking lot, for example. Note: OCPP does not have an equivalent term for this type.
Electric_Vehicle_Charging_Station
An individual piece of equipment supplying electrical power for charging electric vehicles. Contains 1 or more electric vehicle charging ports. Note: the OCPP definition 'The Charging Station is the physical system where EVs can be charged. A Charging Station has one or more EVSEs.' implies that Brick's 'charging port' is equivalent to OCPP's 'EVSE'.
Electric_Vehicle_Charging_Port
An individual point of attachment for charing a single electric vehicle. Note that OCPP's definition of 'EVSE' is 'An EVSE is considered as an independently operated and managed part of the Charging Station that can deliver energy to one EV at a time.'
