Inviting Users

Go to Settings -> Permissions

  1. Click the "+ Invite New User" button

  2. Select the group(s) to add them to and/or the Roleset permission(s) to grant them. User Groups and Roleset need to be created prior to sending invitations - see Creating User Groups and/or Creating Rolesets.

  3. Hit the send invite(s) button. This will cause DCH to send invitation emails to selected addresses. These emails contain a link that takes the user to the login/signup/password reset pages. Once logged in they will have the permissions granted by the invitation.

Important notes:

  • Invitations will expire in 7 days, if that occurs, a new invitation must be generated and sent.

  • You can invite multiple people at the same time. Do this by entering multiple email addresses, separating each email address with a comma (,).

  • Users must sign up using the email address the invitation was sent to.

  • Currently you cannot revoke an invitation after it has been sent. If this is needed, please contact DCH support via email at [email protected].

  • There is no option to delete a user. If you no longer want a user to have access to your resources in the system, then remove all the Rolesets and User Groups linked to them. If, as a user, you want to be forgotten by DCH, please contact DCH via email at [email protected].
