Changing an existing User's Permissions

Go to Settings -> Permissions

In the Users section search or scroll to find the user of interest and click the View button for that user. Only users that currently have access to something in your Organisation will appear in the list. You will then see the set of User groups they are members of, as well as the set of Rolesets that have been directly assigned to them.

  1. Click Edit User Access to add or remove the User Groups or Rolesets associated with the user.

  2. Click Save to update the users’ permissions.

If you have access to multiple organisations in DCH, access permissions for users need to be managed on a per organisation basis.

If the change only involves giving them extra permissions, the invitation system can be used as an alternative.

If you remove all permissions (assigned Rolesets and User Groups) from a user you will no longer be able to see them in the system to assign new Rolesets or User Groups. The user will still be able to log into DCH but will not be able to see any of your resources. In that instance the invitation system needs to be used to grant them new permissions as required.
