Confirm Network Permissions

Confirm with the network administrator that network communications between the gateway and DCH have been configured allowing export of MQTT messages on TCP port 8883 (for secure MQTT) which is strongly preferred, or TCP port 1883 (for unsecure MQTT) which is recommended only for commissioning communications or for low-risk data.

Other ports may be required for proper gateway operations such as tcp_443 for remote gateway access, and udp_123 for ntp server access. Refer to the Gateway documentation for required port openings.
